2. Overview

Connected Training is a training-planning app for coaches and athletes. We process personal data only to provide the app and its features. We do not sell data and we do not use advertising trackers.

3. Data We Process

• Account & profile: name, email address, optional username, encrypted password (hash), team membership, optional accent color/language preference, and an optional profile photo you upload.
• Training data: training plans created by you or your coach, logged sets (weight, reps, RPE), tonnage, personal bests, notes, competitions and appointments.
• Calendar data (optional): if you enable calendar import, we read – only with your explicit consent – selected events from your device calendar to add them as appointments in the app. Access is read-only; only the entries you select are transferred.
• Technical data: when your device contacts our server, technically necessary data is processed (IP address, timestamp, requested resource, error logs) to operate and secure the service.

4. Purposes & Legal Bases

• Providing the app and managing your account – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract/use).
• Showing your training data to you and your assigned coach – Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Calendar import and profile photo – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), revocable at any time.
• Operation, security, error analysis (logs) – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

5. Hosting & Storage Location

App data is stored on a server located in Germany (EU). No transfer to third countries outside the EU takes place.

6. Sharing With Third Parties

Your training data is visible to your assigned coach inside the app – that is the purpose of the app. Beyond that, we do not share personal data with third parties unless technically required to provide the service (hosting) or legally mandated. We do not sell data and do not track for advertising.

7. Retention & Deletion

We store your data for as long as your account exists. On request we will delete your account and the associated personal data; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected. A deletion request by email to marjanheindel@gmail.com is sufficient.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21) and to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)). Contact the address above to exercise these rights.

9. Right to Complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your residence or of the alleged infringement.

10. Changes

We update this policy when the app or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
